A studio for considered living.

For fifteen years we have designed villas and residences across the UAE that ask very little of the people who live in them — spaces where proportion, filtered daylight and honest materials do the quiet work.

Every project begins with a walk through the site at dawn, and ends when the first evening is spent inside it.

We believe rooms hold memory.

The Atelier is an interior design studio in Kochi, Kerala, led by principal Shabana Panakkat. We take on a small number of homes, villas and hospitality projects each year — from first sketch to final styling — so each one is given the time it deserves.
